Iron Acton Parish Hall Closure
The management committee has taken the decision to close Iron Acton Parish hall for the coming months, from Saturday 21st March. We will follow government guidelines and re-open when other leisure venues open.
We are still accepting enquiries for bookings for later in the year and next year. Please contact the booking secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephoning Meryl Cook on 01454 228405.
Iron Acton Horticultural Show
Saturday 12th September 2020
Iron Acton Parish Hall
Despite these difficult and uncertain times one source of constancy are the flowers, the vegetables (and the weeds), and we are all honing our baking and finger painting skills! We hope that in less than five months we will once again be in the Parish Hall and able to do justice to the very many talented artists, bakers, allotment holders and enthusiastic amateurs who contribute each year to this wonderful event. If we can, we hope to hold the 101st Iron Acton Horticultural Show on Saturday 12th September 2020. The Horticultural Show is organised into seven sections and 90 different classes. Something for all ages and abilities.

Iron Acton Parish Hall was built in 1948 on land donated to the village by the Rudman family.
At the turn of the Millennium Project 2000 was established which resulted in a complete refurbishment of the hall by the summer of 2005. In 2011 further development took place to build a new professional kitchen which has enabled the Hall to host charity breakfasts as well as full wedding catering. An additional lobby room and waiting area for those using the hall was completed during 2016 and is available for hire.
Iron Acton Parish Hall is a registered charity run by volunteers, funded by grants, donations, fundraising and hire receipts.
